Golden Flora – Purchase Policies FAQ

At Golden Flora, each handmade crochet and knit clothing item is a delicate treasure, thoughtfully crafted to ensure its uniqueness. Because of the special nature of our pieces, we offer exchanges or store credit on eligible items, but do not offer refunds.

What items are eligible for exchange or store credit?

We offer a 14-day exchange or store credit policy for most knitwear items, as long as they meet the following conditions:

  • Item is unworn and unused

  • Original tags are attached

  • Item is in original packaging

  • A valid receipt with order number is provided

Please note:

  • Handmade crochet items are final sale and not eligible for exchange or store credit

  • Gift cards are also final sale and non-refundable

How do I start an exchange?

To initiate an exchange, please email us at contact@goldenflora.us with the subject line:
Exchange Request – Order #[your order number]

Exchanges must be shipped to:
PO Box 147, Alexandria, VA 22313

Customers are responsible for the return shipping fee, which will be invoiced or deducted from store credit during processing.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds. Many of our items are handmade and delicate, and traditional return processes can compromise their quality and hygiene. Offering store credit or exchange helps us ensure that every customer receives a brand-new, carefully crafted piece, and supports our sustainability goals.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We carefully inspect each item before shipping. If your item was damaged in transit, please contact us immediately with clear photos and relevant details. We’ll work with you to find the best possible solution.

How can I ensure I get the right size?

Each product page includes a sizing guide and measurement tips. We recommend reviewing these carefully and reaching out with any questions before placing your order. If the size isn’t right, eligible knit items can be exchanged within 14 days.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of purchase. After that window, we begin processing to meet our shipping timelines.

How do I care for my crochet or knit item?

Our garments are made with delicate materials and fine craftsmanship.
To ensure longevity:

  • Hand wash in cold water

  • Do not tumble dry – lay flat to dry

  • Do not iron or dry clean

  • Avoid contact with jewelry or rough surfaces to prevent snags
